The Thai Business Club Indonesia (TBCI) co-hosted a golf tournament with Thai Golf Club Indonesia for TGCI&TBCI Cup at Gunung Geulis Country Club on April 1, 2023

TBCI provided fund contributions to the Indonesian Red Cross to help the affected in the recent earthquake in Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia. Thanks to the Royal Thai Embassy, Jakarta for coordination.

On October 29, 2022. The Thai Business Club Indonesia (TBCI) organized a TBCI Gathering Day at the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta to build good relations between fellow members, various companies that operate business in Indonesia and government organizations, with Mr. Praphan Disyathat, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia and Khun Nitthapong Senawong, the chairman of the club gave an opening speech. For this activity, the club would like to thank Ambassador Prapan for allowing the use of the venue. On 20 July 2022, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, alongside the Embassy staff, received a courtesy call from the committee members of Thai Business Club Indonesia (TBCI), led by Mr. Nithapong Senavongse, TBCI President and Senior Vice President (SVP) Bangkok Bank PLC. Jakarta Branch. Both sides discussed the TBCI’s activity plans for 2022 and approaches in enhancing cooperation between the Embassy and Thai and Indonesian private sectors in order to support Thai businesses in Indonesia.

Thai Business Club Indonesia (TBCI) in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta, Team Thailand, Thai Golf Club and the Thai Women’s Club in Indonesia Supporting activities to celebrate the occasion of the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, National Day and Father’s Day 5 December 2021 at the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta Mrs. Jiraporn Sudanich, charge d’affaires, presided over the opening ceremony.
In organizing this event, the Embassy followed the public health measures of Jakarta by limiting the number of participants and antigen testing of all participants before attending the event.

On December 3rd, 2019, Royal Thai Embassy, Jakarta held an event to celebrate the Thai National Day and the 70 years of Thailand – Indonesia diplomatic relations. The Ambassador of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Songphol Sukchan & Madame Piyachanid, The Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, H.E.Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana were hosting the event at Grand Ballroom, AYANA Midplaza Jakarta 7.00pm-9.00pm.

On 20 November 2019, TBCI held Dinner Talk about Business Opportunities and Challenges in Indonesia 2020-2024 at Royal Thai Embassy Jakarta. This event opened by speech from The Ambassador of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Songphol Sukchan.

Today at Royal Thai Embassy Jakarta, Fortis company conducted “Fortis X : The Expansion Program” that brought 7 Thai Startup Companies to Indonesia from September 30th until October 4th 2019.

The purpose of this event is to introduce those startup company from Thailand to the potential partners in Indonesia, creating networks between Indonesia corporates and investors with Thailand startup company, support the exchange of ideas and facilitate collaboration, especially in the digital aspect.

On 9-10 September, Ms. Kanchana Noppun, the Director of Investment Services Center, BOI Thailand led a group of Thai businessmen to study investment opportunities in Indonesia and listen to the investment situation share by Ms. Napat Thuppun, Director of Thai Board of Investment, Jakarta.

With representatives from the Office of Trade Promotion in Jakarta, Thai Business Club in Indonesia, Bangkok Bank, and Thai investors in Indonesia join to share experiences, while also discussing with the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) about the policies and benefits of foreign investment promotion.
